Privacy policy

Effective date: October 24, 2026

This policy describes the personal systemwai-auth Google OAuth application used with rclone and the informational website at auth.systemwai.com.

Who operates this application

This is a personal OAuth application maintained by the project owner for their own use with rclone. It is not offered as a public service. [Before publishing: replace this sentence with the project owner's name or legal identity.]

What this website collects

The website consists of static informational pages. It has no account registration, forms, advertising, analytics, or embedded third-party content. The site itself does not ask for, receive, or store Google passwords, OAuth authorization codes, access tokens, refresh tokens, or Google Drive file contents. The hosting provider may process basic request and security information, such as IP address and browser details, as part of delivering and protecting the website; refer to Cloudflare's privacy information for its handling of that data.

Google authorization and rclone

When the project owner authorizes Google Drive access, rclone initiates the OAuth flow and communicates with Google. Google processes the account information and permissions according to Google's own policies. rclone uses the granted access to perform the Drive operations configured by its operator. OAuth tokens are handled by rclone and stored according to the rclone setup and configuration; they are not submitted to this informational website. The website operator does not receive or access the owner's Drive files through this site.

Permissions and data use

The data and permissions available to rclone depend on the scopes selected in its configuration and the consent prompt shown by Google. The project owner uses access only for their personal rclone setup. Review the Google consent screen before granting access. Google may separately collect and process data under its own terms and privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

This static site does not keep a user account or a copy of Drive data. The project owner can revoke the application's Google access through their Google Account security settings and can remove the rclone configuration or stored token from the device where rclone is configured. Hosting and security logs, if retained by the hosting provider, are governed by that provider's practices.

Children

This personal application and website are not directed to children and are not intended for use by children.

Changes

This policy may be updated if the application or its data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when an updated policy is published.
